The Time When I'd Like to be in A Crowd

"And I wonder when I sing along with you
if everything could ever feel this real forever
if anything could ever be this good again..."

(Everlong, Foo Fighters)
I would like to think about time machine I would like to hear the noise of the century I would like to run around naked I would like to scream in a cemetery gate I would like my ears to go deaf I would like to be in the year that punk broke I would like to smash an electric guitar I would like to curse at the wind I would like to drink a drop of pouring rain I would like the girls to flash their tits I would like to light my fire I would like to jump into the mosh pit I would like to spit to open air I would like to hum all night long I would like to kiss a tiny flower I would like to be an idiot I would like to start a riot I would like to blow out my mind I would like to be under the sea in an octopus's garden in the shade I would like to jump in the chorus I would like to raise my arms in a V I would like to wake up singing a happy tune I would like to sing along like a child I would like to sing along with someone else's lover I would like to sing along in a crowd  I would like to sing along although the words are wrong I would like to teach the world to sing I would like to sing and break the silence I would like to sing like no one is listening!

Radiohead - Fake Plastic Trees - Glastonbury 2003

Radiohead never puts up a lousy live gig because they know exactly what their audiences are hungry for.Their talents are more than enough to please a bunch of rockstar-dreamers-geeks. Their songs are the gift that any human beings with a well-carved sense of art deserve to get. The voice of Thom Yorke is a goosebumps among the modern life's heat. And when it's time for an ultimate climax, they fulfill their crowd's wildest expectations by sending Jonny Greenwood and his guitar to the center of the stage. Then the rest is the night that anyone will never forget. Blessed!

Nirvana - Something in the Way - Unplugged in New York 1994

What so great about this song is that it tells the story about the lowest level in Kurt Cobain's life. No, it's not that time when he got overdosed of heroin and it's also not about his suicidal attempt that once did work to gain him a legendary status. But it's about the time when he kicked out of his home by his own beloved mother to live under a bridge, literally under a bridge, for several days, alone. There is no better attention and appreciation for the song than this famous unplugged session. And when Kurt sang "It's okay to eat fish, 'cause they don't have any feelings", a dim spotlight fell upon him sincerely. Rest in Peace hey you!

U2 - All I Want is You - Vertigo Tour Milan 2007

Apart from his charisma, his moving voice, his romantic lyrics, his strong character, or even his social acts, Bono always be an easy target for incessant flashlights, because one thing for sure, he was born to be the man of the stage (now you might understand why he's so attached with sunglasses). He has the coveted gift of being a central attention where people lay their eyes on. And the best part is he knows exactly how and when to use his never-ending charms and hypnotize every girls who answers his invitation to take a little dance in an overwhelming euphoria of being in a stage together with a famous rockstar. I know it's unfair to talk only about Bono without even mentioning the greatness of U2, but face it, he's the one who likes to actively entertain the crowd.

Arcade Fire - Wake Up - Glastonbury 2007

If a concert or a song in a concert can make an instant choir among the crowds, then you just need one word to describe the whole thing: epic! If the epic thing comes from an indie band which is for the most part of the world is unknown, like neglected by most popular music charts, then it's called historical! Well, it's just a matter of time for another rock 'n' roll revolution.

Coldplay - Yellow - Viva La Vida Tour Tokyo 2009

Coldplay proves that they play a significant role in music history by ensuring that their fans wholeheartedly support this band not because the frontman is married with Hollywood diva, but because their music get through people's ears in a simple and magical way. Not to mention that they not only create sound but also a compelling live act so everyone who has the chance to be there can grant themselves as lucky bastard. Especially for this phenomenal song, Yellow, there's no better chance to perform it live with relevant interpretation of the lyric than to do it in Japan, the country of sunshine. I don't mean to be rude, but a moment like this surely can make any Japanese pupils grow bigger.

Oasis - Don't Look Back in Anger - Dig Out Your Soul Tour Buenos Aires 2009

His intro speech told everything, that a minute before this classic song is played, Noel Gallagher would truly memorize his appearance in front of those thousand Argentinians in his entire life. A fact that we must remember is that Don't Look Back in Anger has always been a dazzling darling in every Oasis' concerts. But, adorned by such emotional feeling of Noel's history along with massive choir from the bottom of Buenos Aires' spirits in this, together it made "Sooooo Sally can't wait... " became the greatest sing-a-long melody mankind has ever created. A totally magnificent moment. "Feel free to join me in the chorus... in tears."
